Scene to Screen – Inter-House Live Scene and News Reporting Competition (Senior Houses)

St. Joseph’s Convent School, Bathinda, organised Scene to Screen – Inter-House Live Scene and News Reporting Competition on 28 October 2026, providing students with a vibrant platform to showcase their creativity, communication skills and stage presence. Centred on the theme “Live Reporting: Diwali Preparations,” the competition brought the festive spirit to life through imaginative news presentations. The four Senior Houses presented engaging live reports, blending creativity, spontaneity and teamwork. By adopting the role of news reporters and correspondents, students transformed familiar Diwali preparations into lively news segments, highlighting the excitement and significance of the festival.

The competition encouraged students to think on their feet, express ideas confidently and communicate effectively while working collaboratively. The performances reflected enthusiasm, originality and a commendable understanding of the live reporting format.

The event proved to be an enriching learning experience, celebrating not only the festive spirit of Diwali but also the power of effective communication, creative expression and teamwork.
