THREE-DAY BOOK FAIR

St. Joseph’s Convent School, Bathinda, organised a three-day Book Fair in collaboration with Scholastic India from 15th to 17th October 2026 as part of its reading and learning initiatives. The fair showcased a diverse collection of age-appropriate books from over 40 Indian and international publishers, offering a wide range of fiction, non-fiction, stories, and informative reading resources. During the first two days, students visited the fair class-wise, allowing them to explore the collection at their own pace and select books according to their interests and reading levels.A special stall showcasing the literary achievements of young Josephite authors was inaugurated by the Principal, featuring the authored books of our students. This inspiring initiative celebrated the students’ creativity and encouraged aspiring young writers to pursue their literary passions. The final day of the fair coincided with the Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM), providing parents with an opportunity to visit the book fair, browse through the collection, and choose suitable books for their children. This initiative encouraged parents to actively participate in developing their children’s reading habits and strengthening the culture of reading at home.
