CBSE CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS (TOPIC-ACTIVE LEARNING )

St. Joseph's Convent School hosted a CBSE Capacity Building Programme on “Active Learning” for teachers of Classes VI to XII on 2nd June 2026. The workshop aimed to strengthen learner-centred teaching practices and promote meaningful classroom engagement.

The session was conducted by Dr. Dhawan Kumar, CBSE Resource Person and Principal of BBS Indo Canadian School, Bathinda. Through interactive activities and practical examples, he highlighted innovative teaching strategies that encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and active student participation.

The programme was graced by Mr. Sant Kumar Sharma, Principal of N.R.M. Holy Heart Convent School, Boha, Mansa, whose presence added value to the learning experience.

Teachers participated enthusiastically and gained valuable insights into competency-based education and effective classroom practices. The workshop proved to be enriching and empowering, equipping educators with practical tools to create engaging and dynamic learning environments.
