LABOUR DAY CELEBRATION–A TRIBUTE TO DIGNITY OF LABOUR
The school celebrated Labour Day with great enthusiasm on 30 April 2026, a day ahead of the official occasion. The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of the revered Sisters. The highlight of the event was the presence of our supporting staff members, who are the pillars of the institution. The special assembly, thoughtfully presented by the students of Class VII, was a heartfelt tribute to their dedication and tireless efforts.As a mark of gratitude and respect, the supporting staff was honoured with a token of appreciation by the House Council members of Classes V and VII. The assembly featured vibrant dance performances and an inspiring skit that beautifully emphasised the theme of the dignity of labour, leaving a lasting impact on the audience.
The Principal, Sr Ophilia, addressed the gathering and spoke about the invaluable role of the supporting staff, highlighting how they are often the first to arrive and the last to leave the school premises. Her words instilled a deep sense of respect and appreciation among the students.Adding to the joy of the occasion, the Lucky Person Award was presented by the School Manager, Sr Grace Maria, along with Principal, Sr Ophilia and the Vice Principal, Sr Renuka.The celebration was meaningful and inspiring, reminding everyone of the importance of valuing and respecting every individual’s contribution.
