“MY SAFE ROUTE MAP” ACTIVITY (CLASSES VI AND VII)

As part of National Road Safety Month, our school organised the “My Safe Route Map” activity on 23rd January 2026 for Classes VI and VII. The initiative encouraged students to look closely at their daily journeys and recognize the importance of safe travel.
Armed with colours and creativity, students designed maps of their routes to school, highlighting zebra crossings, traffic signals, footpaths, and danger zones. The classroom buzzed with excitement as learners shared experiences and discussed safer alternatives.
The activity blended awareness with imagination. It strengthened observation skills, promoted responsible road behaviour, and reminded everyone that safety begins with small, mindful choices. The event was both educational and inspiring, leaving students better prepared to travel smart and safe.
