UNDERSTANDING THE MIND: NEURO-PSYCHIATRY AWARENESS SESSION (CLASSES 7TH TO 9TH)

The school conducted an insightful Neuro-Psychiatry Awareness Session for Classes VII to IX on 11 December. It was led by Dr Sharda Snehi, Consultant Psychiatrist at the Pragma Medical Institute, Punjab. The session aimed to help students understand how the brain and the mind work together, influencing thoughts, emotions, and behaviour.Dr Sharda explained topics such as emotional regulation, stress, peer pressure, and the importance of speaking up when feeling overwhelmed. An interactive query round allowed students to ask questions openly, making the discussion more engaging and relatable.The session proved to be highly informative and meaningful, empowering students with essential life skills.
