A SPREE OF CENTENARY FERVOR IN ST JOSEPH’S BATHINDA. Go Back
 Event Date : 17 Jul, 2021
Description: 17 July, 2021 was made extraordinarily memorable at St. Joseph’s Convent School, Bathinda, as the Josephite family celebrated the successful completion of the Centenary of Bethany. The milestones of Bethany were mused over by gratefully recounting the magnificent accomplishments of the Lord. A prayerful programme was held in the Convent Chapel. As the Bethany Anthem resounded, all the participants proceeded to the altar in a solemn procession with a lighted candle, symbolic of the light, lit by Mgr. Raymond F.C.Macarenhas to conquer ignorance and illiteracy. A thanks giving prayer was offered to the Lord for His steadfast love and promises to Bethany over the hundred wonderful years. A glowing tribute was paid to the revered Founder and the pioneers for their undaunted courage and bold leap in the dark. Few members offered intercessory prayers and implored God’s choicest blessings on the staff students, workers, and benefactors of the Josephite family. Some of our ex-students,recalled with gratitude the contribution of Bethany in their lives . As the centenary chorus played, a respectful floral tribute was offered to our revered Founder by all the participants. The programme concluded with a happy note and a fellowship meal was shared by all in the school library.
