 Description: On 28th April 2025, St. Joseph’s Convent School, Bathinda, hosted an insightful Orientation Programme focused on CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and Essential Life-Saving Skills. The session was led by two distinguished experts — Dr. Rimanshu Bansal and Mr. Naresh Pathania — who brought with them a wealth of experience and a passion for educating young minds on critical emergency response techniques. Dr. Rimanshu Bansal initiated the session by explaining the fundamental principles of CPR, stressing how timely action can often mean the difference between life and death in emergency situations. Following this, Mr. Naresh Pathania demonstrated the correct techniques of chest compressions and rescue breathing. Using mannequins, he guided the participants through step-by-step procedures, encouraging hands-on practice. The trainers emphasized the critical importance of staying calm, assessing situations quickly, and acting responsibly during emergencies.The orientation programme successfully sowed the seeds of awareness, responsibility, and readiness — qualities that extend beyond the classroom into everyday life.
