Description: On 26th April 2025, the staff and Sisters of St Joseph’s Convent School gathered in solemn unity to offer a heartfelt Prayer Service in memory of Pope Francis, following the sad news of his passing. The service began with a simple procession, as candles were lit to symbolize the light Pope Francis brought into the world through his humility, compassion, and unwavering dedication to peace and humanity.“God speaks to us through His Word- Selected readings from Scriptures were shared to guide, comfort , and draw everyone closer to His love.A moving tribute was delivered by the activity incharges, who spoke about Pope Francis’ deep humility, his groundbreaking contributions to the Church, and his ability to touch lives across the world, regardless of faith or background. The service was further enriched by the singing of hymns that resonated deeply with the values Pope Francis embodied. A final tribute was paid with the shower of flower petals, that symbolised respect, acknowledging the beauty and grace that he brought into our lives. The atmosphere was filled with reverence and quiet reflection as the school community came together to honor the life and legacy of a beloved spiritual leader.
