A seminar on creating awareness about the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act held in our school on 13 December proved to be a crucial initiative in fostering a safe and secure environment for students. The event focused on educating the educators about the legal framework and preventive measures outlined in the act. The resource person Advocate Sameer Singh,provided insights about the various sections and sub sections of the act in an easy and lucid manner By fostering awareness and imparting knowledge, the seminar played a pivotal role in equipping the school community to safeguard children and contribute to the broader societal effort to prevent child sexual abuse.
