Description: "Earth is called the green planet due to the presence of plants on it. In order to instill the value of growing plants and to explain its importance, the students of St. Joseph’s Convent School of Grade LKG went on a field trip to the vegetable garden in the school campus on December 12, 2023.The little ones were shown different types of plants and were explained the various parts of plants and their uses. They learned about different types of vegetables grown in the garden, for example, tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, cauliflower, cabbage, bell pepper, etc. The children had a wonderful learning experience. The trip was a great success and a memorable experience for the little ones. Field visits are extremely important for the children to understand the practical demonstration of farmers' practices."
